Dead man a victim of alcohol, not foul play
While there is no major crime news to report tonight a postmortem has confirmed that a death in Belize City early Wednesday morning, was not the result of a criminal act, just a tragic one. Dr. Mario Estradabran has concluded that fisherman David Mejia, whose body was found outside a Pickstock Street rum depot, died from a congested bladder caused by the consummation of excess alcohol. In other words he drank himself to death.
