Fisherman found dead in Belize City
Another death, this time in Belize City, was reported in the early hours of this morning. At around two-thirty police discovered the body of thirty-eight year old David Mejia, a fisherman of number one-twelve Eve Street. He was found in front of the Cuello Brothers depot on Pickstock Street and pronounced dead on arrival at K.H.M.H. According to police there were no visible signs of injury, but word on the street is that Mejia had been severely beaten. A postmortem will be conducted shortly to help clear up the mystery.
