Party leaders will debate Thursday on radio
The N.G.O. sponsored debate promoted by SPEAR and the Chamber of Commerce may be history, but it doesn’t mean that voters will not get to hear the party leaders slug it out. Love FM has confirmed that both Manuel Esquivel and Said Musa have accepted the radio station’s offer to make a joint appearance on Thursday night at seven thirty. While exact details of the format are still under discussion it is understood that hosts will be Love’s Rene Villanueva and Richard Merril. As an added bonus the station’s Wednesday night program will feature opposing campaign managers Dean Lindo and Ralph Fonseca. Who knows, with the politicians suddenly anxious to confront each other face to face, can a TV debate be far behind?
