Chinese man killed as van turns over on Western Highway
A van loaded with fifteen people overturned on the Western Highway Sunday evening leaving one man dead and two in the hospital. Forty six year old Pan Li Chi Hui died on the spot when a van in which he was a passenger overturned near mile twenty eight on the way from Belize City to Belmopan. Seriously injured were forty-nine year old Patricia Ho of St. Matthews Street in Belize City and driver forty-eight year old Pan Tai Hong of Cork Street. Police say that Hong lost control when his van suffered a blow out on the right rear wheel and then overturned.
