Adrian Hernandez is Arraigned for Motty’s Murder

Adrian Hernandez

Twenty-three-year-old Kyle Latchman remains unaccounted for, in the wake of his father’s murder. His family, despite searching various locations where it is believed that his remains would turn up, is no closer to determining his whereabouts. But they are, perhaps, a step closer to getting a sense of finality where the shooting death of Emert Flowers is concerned. This morning, eighteen-year-old Adrian Hernandez, a resident of Berkeley Street, was arraigned on a single charge of murder. He is the suspected triggerman in the armed assault on the sixty-two-year-old tour guide. The incident occurred at Flowers’ residence on Racecourse Street on December 27th, 2022.  Hernandez appeared unrepresented before Chief Magistrate Sharon Fraser, who informed him that due to the nature of the offense bail would be denied. With that, the teenager was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until March thirteenth, 2023.
