Belize Receives Funds for Free Zone Road
And while those roads that need urgent attention are being addressed, up north in Corozal, there will also be work on the portion of the road from the bridge that borders Belize and Mexico in Santa Elena, all the way to the Corozal Free Zone. This comes after the Central American Bank for Economic Integration, CABEI, approved a grant of almost two million Belize dollars to finance the rehabilitation of the access road to the free zone. Work on the road, which is just under a mile in length, should start in March.
