Barrow Believes G.O.B. will Cancel Brads Contract
Senior Counsel Dean Barrow is the attorney for Brads Gaming Group Limited. He also represents Countach Technologies. The contract to conduct the Government Lotteries was awarded to B.G.G.L. during the final year of his term as prime minister. It is his firmly held opinion that the existing contract with Brads will be voided.
Dean Barrow, Attorney-at-law
“We believe that the government will cancel the license via the Lotteries Committee. We believe that they will be entirely wrong to do so. We believe that when we go to court to challenge that revocation that we will have, we will be in an excellent position to be able to show that in and of itself, the justification offered cannot stand, but that over and above that, you look at the history, you look at the background, you look at what was said. You look at the other action of the government in terms of trying to tax Brads, the license, out of existence, that all that is material upon which we think a court will decide that any revocation is improper and would therefore support a claim for damages.”
