Belize City man charged in robbery, wounding
A twenty-three year old Belize City man who is apparently in the habit of “stronging” bicycles is behind bars on a number of charges. Mark Middleton was picked up by police following a report made by twenty-one year old Bernard Bahadur that he was attacked on Friday night by two men. Bahadur identified Middleton as one of his attackers and said he chopped him on his right elbow and made off with his bicycle. The bike has since been recovered but the second attacker continues to elude the police. Middleton, who was previously charged with two counts of bicycle theft, has also been charged with use of deadly means of harm, robbery and wounding.
