Sixteen Years in Prison for Convicted Rapist
Thirty-seven-year-old Andre Gordon has been sentenced to sixteen years in prison after being convicted of rape. The sentence was initially set for eight years behind bars but was increased by another eight years due to the many aggravating factors of the case. In July 2022, Gordon was found guilty of raping a woman in February 2017, despite his testimony that they had consensual intercourse. Gordon is not eligible for parole until he has served eight years in prison.
