The Ambergris Historical Society will be receiving a grant of seven thousand U.S. dollars courtesy of the Inter-American Development Bank. The funds given through the I.D.B.’s Cultural Center in Washington D.C., are provided annually to cultural associations or societies that are in need of financial help.
