Cayo villager victim of apparent suicide

In crime news, a forty three year old man from the village of Las Flores, just outside Belmopan has apparently become the latest addition to the list of persons who have committed suicide. According to forty-three year old Pedrina Ayala, around three o’clock Thursday afternoon, she left her home in the village to get the laundry done. Ayala told police that upon her return a half-hour later, she found her common-law husband Marco Antonio Hernandez hanging from a rope inside the outhouse, apparently dead. Hernandez’ body now awaits a post mortem examination at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City.
