U.S. donates trucks to police
We’re not sure if it has anything to do with the failure of police to lay a hand on a truckload of Guatemalan murderers on May second but the U.S. embassy has announced that it is donating two big pickup trucks to the Dragon Unit. Their purpose? To rapidly transport interdiction teams anywhere in Belize. Another smaller vehicle has also been donated to the force to help investigators combat financial crimes. A handing over ceremony will be held Friday morning at the embassy.
