Post-Mortem reveals that Elrick Vairez Drowned
The post-mortem result is out – Elrick Vairez died by drowning. Today, an autopsy was conducted on the body of the thirty-five-year-old father of one and just after four p.m., police says that the cause of death was certified as “asphyxia due to inhalation of fluid as a consequence of drowning.” Vairez was reported missing on Monday by Douglas Gill, a fisherman of Conch Shell Bay with whom he travelled to Montego Bay Caye last Friday. He was last seen walking on the island on Sunday, February nineteenth. His body was discovered by coast guard and C.I.B. personnel on Tuesday evening.
