Seventeen-year-old Minor Arraigned for Murder of Emert Flowers
A male minor, age seventeen, is the second suspect to have been charged with the murder of Emert Flowers who was gunned down at his residence on Racecourse Street on January twelfth. The teenager appeared before Senior Magistrate Baja Shoman earlier today where he was arraigned on a single count in the presence of a Community Rehabilitation Officer. Due to the nature of the charge, bail was denied and the seventeen-year-old was committed to the Wagner’s Youth Facility. He is due back in court on March thirteenth, 2023. That individual joins eighteen-year-old Adrian Hernandez, a student of Berkeley Street, who has also been charged with the murder of the sixty-two-year-old tour operator. During that incident, seventy-seven-year-old Dusseldore Waight was also injured by gunfire. Emert Flowers was the father of Kyle Latchman who remains missing and is believe to be dead.
