Argument Between Security Guards Ends with Charge for Death Threat
A heated exchange of words between a pair of security guards employed at the same workplace has resulted in twenty-eight-year-old Julian Logan being charged with issuing a death threat. Logan appeared unrepresented before the magistrate court where he was read a single charge. It is alleged that on February twenty-fifth, Logan verbally endangered the life of Ashford Nicasio when he uttered the words, “bloodshed wahn happen ya, you wah dead”. The incident happened at the San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi Terminal on North Front Street. In court, the prosecutor did not object to bail which was subsequently offered in the sum of eight hundred dollars, plus one surety of the same amount. He was able to meet bail, however, the conditions are that he is not to contact the virtual complainant or any members of his family or any other prosecution witnesses.
