21 year old wins $5,000 draw

The National Agriculture and Trade Show may have been hot and dusty, but it also proved lucky for one resident of Belize City. The people at Courts used the fair to hold their second Serious Cash II draw this weekend. The five thousand dollar winning ticket belonged to twenty-one year old Neri Felix of Belize City. According to Felix, she did not realize that buying a home gym in March would lead to such good fortune.

“At first I thought my mother was pulling a prank on me because when I went home she said, did you hear the news? I don’t know and she said you won the five thousand dollars from Courts and I laughed it off and she was serious and I said really mom and she said yes and I guess I was excited.

I should be moving from my present location about three months or so, so I will definitely be needing some home equipment and so on.”

“We are planning. Right now we have in process whenever people purchase selected refrigerators they get a free courts football and next week we will have a two-day promotion, which we will explain later in the week. The serious cash draws, is four, five thousand dollars draws, then we have ten thousand, twenty thousand and the big one of fifty thousand in December.”

The next Courts drawing of five thousand dollars will be held in July.
