Investigation Continues into Murder of Brian Perez

On Friday, we told you about the murder of thirty-eight-year-old Brian Perez inside his Gill Street residence in Belize City. As we reported, Perez had just arrived home with his family when they were accosted by two men. His mother and sister were struck with what is believed to be a metal pipe and in that moment, one of the assailants approached Perez and fired a deadly shot. Today, we asked police for an update into their investigation and they had little information to provide while assuring the public that investigators are taking the matter seriously.
