Trio of Teenagers Charged for Assaulting S.J.C. Student
A sixteen-year-old student of Saint John’s College visited the police station here in Belize City in the company of his father, where reported that whilst walking along Princess Margaret Drive, he was attacked by several persons, including a fellow classmate. During the incident the teenager was reportedly struck several times in the face, sustaining injuries to the left side of his face and lower lip. As a result, police launched an investigation into what transpired that day and discovered a video of the incident on social media.
In the clip, they observed eighteen-year-old Lennox Flowers and two other minors assaulting the student. On Saturday, a seventeen-year-old male minor, one of the boys who assaulted the student, handed himself in to police in the presence of his mother. All three, including Lennox Flowers, have been arrested and charged for the crime of dangerous harm.
