Raleigh International holds assessment camp
Young Belizeans between the ages of seventeen and twenty five are being invited to try out for the second Raleigh International Expedition scheduled to take place from the eight of July to the twenty fourth of September. The assessment, which will take place at Camp Oakley in Burrell Boom, gets underway at eleven thirty on Saturday morning. Those young persons interested in trying out for the expedition are asked to show up at the camp and take along a sleeping bag, change of clothes, swim wear, plate and spoon and a good pair of sturdy booths. These items, among others, will be necessary as the potential candidates will be put through a battery of challenging tests to see whether or not they qualify for the expedition. Raleigh International will provide transport from the Burrell Boom cutoff for those persons who can’t make it to the camp on their own. The transport will leave the Burrell Boom junction at eleven Saturday morning.
