U.C.B. signs agreement with Guatemalan university
The University College of Belize has signed an agreement to collaborate with Guatemala’s premier tertiary institution, the University of San Carlos. Both schools are members of the Central American Confederation of National Universities. The working relationship is expected to initially focus on the areas of veterinary science and architecture, which are already being developed at U.C.B.’s Toledo campus. According to a U.C.B. release, the University of San Carlos had an enrollment of over eighty eight thousand students.
