Dangriga man arrested for burglary

The police in Belize City were not the only ones catching up with suspected criminals. In Dangriga a two-week investigation has resulted in the arrest of a twenty two year old man in connection with an incident which happened on April fourteenth. A Danriga woman told police that shortly after midnight she came home and found that her house has been burglarized. Upon making checks she discovered the burglars were still inside the house and that they attempted to rape her. Police have arrested and charged Bert Eligio for the crimes of abduction, attempted rape, indecent assault, kidnapping and aggravated burglary.
