He also highlighted the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister of Taiwan Tsai-In Wen shortly.
Prime Minister John Briceño
“In just two years, our government has spent sixteen point six billion supporting low income housing program, and you are asking me what are the solutions? My brother the solutions are right in front of you, only that you refuse to open your eyes, or you just don’t want to say the truth. Our teachers, they have more resource centres online to assist them with planning of their classes. And ask the Belizean people if they are not proud of what Belize is doing on the world stage with our robust and principled foreign policy. Everywhere you go in other countries, they want to hear the Belize story. In two short years, we have hosted more world leaders in this country than what the UDP was in thirteen years. Let’s take this opportunity to mention again, as I mentioned to the ambassador from Taiwan how happy we are and how pleased and how proud we are about the visit of the president of Taiwan in two short weeks. And we will be inviting her to come here to this parliament to address both the Senate and the House of Representatives.”
