Police Charges Belize City Man for Killing of Dangriga Resident

Police have made an arrest in connection with a murder that occurred in Dangriga in February of this year. A.S.P. Fitzroy Yearwood says the evidence points to a resident of North Creek in Belize City. The motive for the killing of Frank Garcia remains unknown, but investigators are trying to wrap up the case. Garcia was inside his house in the Rivas Estate area of Dangriga on February twenty-seventh when his killer entered the house and shot him. Here’s A.S.P Yearwood with that update.

“Well this is a investigation that the arrest was made one month later. So I can see that detectives were conducting the investigation and when they believe that they had enough evidence they levied charges. The motive has not been, how to say, announced as yet.”
