Someone Shot Ms. Marina’s House
Everyone knows long-time Carnival enthusiast and coach, Marina Welcome as the life of the party, so-to-speak. Every year for the better part of three decades, Welcome has been preparing, training, and coaching children to represent Jump Street in the carnival road march. But on Sunday evening, someone shot at the retired nurse’s house on Rio Bravo Crescent, off Faber’s Road. It’s an incident that has her shaken because she has no known issues with anyone and she lives alone. Today, the Regional Commander of Eastern Division, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Hilberto Romero shared what police had on the incident so far.
