New deputy director named for Tourist Board
The government body that oversees the tourism industry has announced some internal changes. Valerie Woods, formerly the Board’s assistant marketing director and chief spokesperson, was, effective today, promoted to the newly created post of Deputy Director of Tourism. Woods, who has been with the Board for over a year, previously worked at the Radisson Fort George Hotel. She, along with B.T.I.A. President Susan Fuller, will be the guests on Thursday night’s “One On One” with Dickie Bradley.
