Former Honduran president visits
The Former President of Honduras, Carlos Roberto Reina was in Belize today on a whirl wind visit. According to Foreign Affairs Minister Dean Barrow, Reina’s visit to the country was to lobby support for his future presidency of the United Nations’ General Assembly. It is not yet known whether or not Belize has decided to throw its support behind the former Honduran leader for the post. Reina is expected to travel extensively throughout the region to make his pitch for the presidency.
