The Belize Police Department Bids Adieu to Fitzy
This afternoon at Saint John’s Cathedral here in Belize City, family, friends and colleagues of Fitzroy Yearwood gathered to bid farewell to the well-known Assistant Superintendent of Police. Yearwood passed away last Tuesday, following a massive stroke he suffered on Holy Saturday. The service officiated by Bishop Philip Wright was at capacity and dozens of spectators stood outside and lined both sides of Albert Street to observe the funeral procession led by the brass of the Belize Police Department.
