Three charged for kidnapping Alfonso Williams

Story Picture
And in a follow up to another big story we reported last week, police have charged three men in connection with the disappearance of Alfonso Williams earlier this month. The nineteen year old man vanished from his work place on Amara Avenue on the morning of March eleventh and has not been seen or heard from since. According to the Head of C.I.B. Simeon Alvarez, investigation so far is indicating that last Thursday’s shooting death of Alden Quilter is in no way connected with William’s disappearance. Nonetheless, charges of kidnapping and conspiracy to kidnap have been brought against twenty one year old Brian Brown, twenty three year old Charles Jones and twenty one year old Kurlin Felix Noralez.

“They have been charged for kidnapping as the investigation carried out, it clearly stated that both Brown and Kurlin Noralez, when they went for Alfonso Williams at his place of work, they were armed and upon information we received is that both have knowledge of the whereabouts of Alfonso who from the street talks is that he is dead. They have denied coming in contact with the missing person and from our investigation, yes, they did come in contact with him. As we can recall the Tuesday night, they went to North Creek and they asked for Williams and shortly after gunshots were heard. So if he is not alive and if he is dead I am of the belief that they know exactly who is responsible for that crime.”

Police say the 16 gauge sawed off shotgun used in the killing of Quilter was discovered hidden near the scene of the shooting incident. One of the accused men, Kurlin Felix Noralez, is alleged to have accused Williams of breaking into his house and stealing cocaine and money. The three men have been denied bail since the whereabouts of Williams is still not known. They are to reappear in court on March twenty seventh.
