Armed Thieves Rob Chukka Tours and Steal Liquor
On Sunday morning, near the mile eight community, five armed men entered Chukka Tours premises where the held up the establishment and made off with an assortment of liquor and an undisclosed sum of money. Police say they are looking for a vehicle believed to have been used in the commission of the robbery.

“On May seventh, around 3:10 a.m., police responded to an aggravated burglary report at Chukka Tours, situated at eight miles, Belize District. Upon their arrival, the security guards reported that they were held up by five male persons with firearms and robbed of alcoholic beverages from the establishment, as well as cash. The male persons then fled from the area, making good their escape.”

“In terms of the vehicle that was used, is the department searching for any particular vehicle or anything like that?”

“We are following up several leads and yes, we are looking for a vehicle that was used to commit the burglary.”

“In terms of the value of the items stolen, has that been established?”

“It was some alcoholic beverages and a small amount of cash. That was all that was stolen.”
