Travel agency held up at knifepoint
A downtown Belize City travel agency was held up this morning and the pair of robbers are still on the loose. At around 11:45 two dark skinned men entered the premises of Belize International Travel Service at 18 Bishop Street. One of them brandished a large knife and told the single clerk on duty, “Give me all the money.” He quickly complied, handing over one hundred and seventy dollars from the cash drawer, and the robbers departed. One customer was in the establishment at the time and was not hurt. No suspects have yet been apprehended while police investigations continue.
