Prime Minister goes to Greneda for meeting
Prime Minister Manuel Esquivel will travel to Saint George’s, Grenada on Saturday to attend the ninth Inter-Sessional Meeting of the Conference of CARICOM Heads of Government. The March first to the third meeting will examine progress made so far regarding the establishment of a single market and economy. The leaders will also take time out to discuss the upcoming Canada-CARICOM Summit in the Bahamas and the second summit of the Americas in Chile, both slated for the month of April. Esquivel is being accompanied on this latest trip by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Trade, Rodney Neal and Fred Martinez from the Prime Minister’s office. The P.M. will return home next Thursday and while he is away from the country, Honorable Dean Barrow will act as Prime Minister.
