More arrests in Kraal Road shoot-out

Two more suspects have been arrested in last Thursday’s shoot-out on Kraal Road in Belize City. 22 year old Ernest Savery and 24 year old Collin Bailey, like the three suspects already in custody, have been charged with three counts of attempted murder, wounding and deadly means of harm. All five men, believed to be occupants of the black pickup truck that opened fire on a taxi, have been additionally charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit murder. Neither the two occupants of the taxi nor the wounded bystander were seriously injured in the incident. The shooting is believed to be drug related.
