5 people injured in Western Highway accident
On Sunday morning five residents of Belize City were on their way to Hattieville in a pickup when they suffered a blowout in their left rear tire between miles four and five. The vehicle went out of control and suddenly veered off the road where it clipped a tree stump and flipped over, coming to rest on its roof in the middle of a swamp. Miraculously no one was killed although driver Harisson Arnold and his four passengers were all admitted to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. The passengers were thirty seven year old Anthony Palmer, twenty six year old Orson Middleton, his five year old son Orson Junior and twenty seven year old Godfrey Jenkins.
