David Arnold Walks From the Murder of ‘Hard Rock’
This morning in the High Court, David Arnold, charged for the execution-style murder of well-known Belize City deejay Andrew ‘Hard Rock’ Bennett, walked away a free man. Arnold had been committed to stand trial and for the past six months, he had been back and forth from the Belize Central Prison regarding the matter. At ten a.m., he was informed that the Crown had entered a nolle pros after police made several unsuccessful attempts to locate the main witness. Hard Rock was shot and killed in May 2017 at a bus shed on Central American Boulevard. Arnold’s case set to commence as a trial by judge without a jury.
