Families Want Help to Stop Police Harassment
Dulce Sanchez and Joan Ramsey say that police targeting the yard is bringing unnecessary negative attention to the families. So how do they get the harassment to stop?

“I just want it to stop because they are bringing heat to this yard and eventually someone will get hurt.”
“So what’s the next step? Do you make an appeal to the Commissioner of Police or higher ups to say hey we need some kind of intervention?”
Voice of: Dulce Sanchez
“Yes we do and they even told me to go to Raccoon Street Police Station on Monday to make a report. So that’s my next step. I mean if I have to get a lawyer or something then I will have to do that because they have my minor in there. He is a minor; he’s seventeen years old as well. You know, holding him for what? I’ve always said that I would never put myself on the media, but it is getting ridiculous and someone will get hurt because they are painting, they are coming here and people are seeing that. So from the time police is coming in and out of the yard, I mean they are saying well you are the bad guys.”
