Two men arrested in ride-by shooting
Two young men have been arrested in connection with a weekend shooting in Belize City. 17-year-old Deon Cadle and 18-year-old Mark Gardiner have each been charged with two counts of attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm and dangerous harm for the ride by shooting of Phillip McKay and Mark Dougal. The incident occurred Friday night near the corner of Mosul and Vernon Streets. Police have recovered the 25 calibre pistol they believe was used in the shooting.
