Lamp post burns and breaks
Late this evening, residents along Calle al Mar, just opposite the MCC Grounds, were forced to remain indoors as they first watched one of their lane’s lamp posts burn, then break in two, leaving its live wires dangling dangerously close to the ground. While none of the residents would venture out to speak to us on camera, they say they first heard a crackling sound and when they looked outside saw the burning post. B.E.L. Workers arrived shortly after we did and it is expected that by late this evening the post will be replaced and the power restored.
