“Scurvy” charged for rape of 14 year old

Weeks after a fourteen year old girl was raped at knifepoint in Seine Bight Village, police have charged her alleged attacker. The accused, forty-one year old Wallace Cayetano of Lakeland area in Dangriga, has been charged with Rape, Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, Aggravated Assault, Harm, and Threatening Words. The charges follow the alleged incident on December nineteenth, 2008. The victim told police she was walking on Main Street in Seine Bight Village around midnight when Cayetano, also known as “Scurvy”, approached her and invited her to his house to talk. The girl says she obliged, but once inside the house, Cayetano reportedly grabbed her by her blouse and took her into the bedroom where he threw her on the bed, produced a knife and after warning her not to scream, raped her.
