Mangar sighted on Hummingbird Highway

Belize’s most wanted man, Winsworth Mangar is back in the news tonight … and no he hasn’t been captured. But the fugitive seems to be living up to his prophesy of kicking up dust in 1998. A LOVE F.M. radio news report says that Mangar had been sighted near Mile 31 on the Hummingbird Highway. LOVE said its reporter who was in the area over the weekend was told by villagers that they have reported the Mangar sighting to the police but that so far they’ve been slow to react. One man in the community is reported to have been robbed of a number of items, including a sixteen gauge shotgun, as recently as the twelfth of this month. The family that is Mangar’s latest victim is said to be lodging a complaint to the Ministry of National Security in Belmopan.
