Two wounded in ride by shooting

In Belize City two young men have ended up in the hospital, victims of what appears to have been a ride by shooting. Phillip McKay told police that around 10:20 Friday night he was standing in front of Sarita’s Bar at the Corner of Mosul and Vernon Streets when he heard gunshots ring out. McKay said he then realized he had been shot on the left side of his buttock. His friend Mark Dougal, who was standing on the opposite side of the bar, was wounded on his left arm. None of the injuries were life-threatening and the men reported to police that at the time of the incident they saw a man riding off on a bicycle. The only description of the rider that was given to police is that he was of fair complexion and had bushy hair.
