British give computers to U.W.I.
In the last days before his departure from Belize British High Commissioner Gordon Baker has been a busy diplomat. This evening he presented twenty three thousand dollars worth of computer equipment to the University of the West Indies School of Continuing Studies. The equipment, which came courtesy of the Heads of Mission Gift Scheme, will be used to teach initial computer literacy. Baker’s next post will be as High Commissioner to Barbados.
