ComPol Williams Believes Nah is Guilty in Ammo Case
On Wednesday, attorney Richard ‘Dickie’ Bradley provided an update on an ammunition case involving accused murderer, Corporal Elmer Nah. The incarcerated policeman was charged along with his common-law wife and brother-in-law, following the discovery of a cache of ammo inside a vehicle they were reportedly traveling in on the Southern Highway in November 2021. The bust coincided with the landing of a drug plane near Bladen Village on the night of November 5th, 2021. The matter which is before Senior Magistrate Baja Shoman has seen sworn statements being given by several witnesses, including a fellow lawman who testified that the rounds in question had initially been placed in another vehicle, not the one in which Corporal Nah and his passengers were traveling. Commissioner of Police Chester Williams spoke of an investigation into the circumstance.

“They did an investigation and there is nothing to indicate that Corporal Arnold did anything wrong. He went to court and he testified based on what he knew at the time. That was it.”

“So the police department doesn’t wish to find out how the bullets went from the vehicle he said he placed them in, into Elmer Nah’s vehicle?”

“Well that’s the matter before the court and that’s why we believe that Corporal Nah is guilty because the vehicle in which the bullets was found, is not the same vehicle that Arnold left them in. So he would have had to move it from where it was to where they found it. So that’s the crux of the prosecution’s case.”
