Minister Musa Says Shyne is Wrong; Nobody Punched Him
He was not at the sitting of the House of Representatives last Friday, but Fort George Area Rep Kareem Musa’s name did come up at the start of the meeting. Leader of the Opposition Shyne Barrow in a fiery exchange with Pickstock Area Representative Anthony Mahler alluded to Musa having been assaulted by his cabinet colleague. The outburst caused the Speaker of the House to call a recess. But what was on everyone’s mind was whether or not Mahler did, quote, unquote, punch Musa. Today, the media got answers from the Minister of Home Affairs.
Kareem Musa, Minister of Home Affairs
“It seems like the guy has an unhealthy fascination with me, an obsession almost. I don’t know how it is that he is the only person on planet earth that heard Kareem Musa get punched. Where did he invent this from? He is making Andre Gray look like wah lee bwai man in terms of the stories he is inventing. Again, another invention, but certainly another insight, another window into who the Leader of the Opposition is and Belize has nothing good to look forward to with him.”
