Cost of U.S. visas skyrocket
Those ever popular visas to enter the United States will became more dear beginning next month. A release from the U.S. Embassy states that as part of a new policy to have fees reflect actual costs, the price of applying for a nonimmigrant visa will rise from twenty U.S. dollars to forty-five. Immigrant visa applications have also jumped from one hundred seventy dollars to two hundred sixty, and the issuance fee has gone from thirty to sixty-five. And if you lose your green card… a replacement, formerly free, will now set you back one hundred and twenty greenbacks. There is good news for U.S. citizens, however, as fees to issue or renew U.S. passports have been reduced.
