Man found dead in San Pedro Columbia

In crime news police in Toledo have a “whodunit” on their hands in the village of San Pedro Columbia. All they know is that early Monday morning they were called to the house of thirty-four year old Jose Pop. Lying face down in a drain in front of that house they found the body of fifty-one year old Juan Coc. It displayed bruises to the chest and right eye and there was blood coming out of the mouth. Coc had attended a party at Pop’s home earlier that night. Investigations continue and police have detained three persons including Pop and his wife. The body remains at Punta Gorda Hospital awaiting a post mortem to help determine whether Coc died from a particularly nasty fall or was the victim of murder.
