Bar Association welcomes A.G.?s initiative
In related news, the Bar Association has welcomed the news that help is on the way in clearing up the huge back-log of cases still pending before the Supreme Court. President of the Bar Lois Young says it is a positive move in the right direction.

The two judges that should come from Australia should help. We’re looking forward to that. In fact the Bar committee is meeting with Harry Bower on Wednesday and we are going to try to explain to him the kind of judges we need and the caliber judges that we expect to get. We still have a back log. More cases are being filed, civil and criminal cases and the Judiciary is the same size.
Q: Is this an indication that people are becoming more knowledgeable of their rights?
People are becoming more knowledgeable of their rights. They are suing more. Things aren’t being settled out of court, the way they ought to be. Everybody is going to court. Everybody want’s their day in court. That’s right. That’s the way it should be.
