John Briceño, Leader of the Opposition
“I feel quite excited. I feel energized. When you see a group of people like Monchi and his team that have offered themselves to the people of Orange Walk. When you look at each of our candidates, all of them from Rozel to Kevin, all of them have been active in our community. They’ve been serving be it in teachers, be it in different organizations, be it in sports. All of them have been serving this town. They have seen the dire need of bringing good leaders to Orange Walk town, to be able to try to restore the town to where it was, to try to keep a plan of action that can serve the people of Orange Walk Town. So I’m very excited when I see people like young Jose Carballo taking part of this. Also that Monchi Cervantes who has always active in this community, always been active in our party, has finally decided that it is time for him to step up and to lead a team. In Monchi I have every confidence. He has the experience, he has the experience, he has the energy, he has the training, he has the success in the business so that I believe and I also believe that the majority of the citizens of Orange Walk Town on the fourth of March, because of the things that I’ve said, are going to give Monchi and his team a vote of confidence and elect them as the new town council of Orange Walk.”
