Brandon Taylor Charged in Connection with Robbery at Hospital
Well-known criminal figure, Brandon Taylor, also known as Brandon Bowen, is out on bail on a charge of robbery. The charge against Taylor is in relation to a hold-up at the Belize Healthcare Partners Limited on Monday, June twenty-sixth. On that day, the cashier at the hospital was help up by a man who exited a vehicle and grabbed an envelope from her, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash. The man then ran to the vehicle, which sped off. Today after confirming his real name as Brandon Taylor, the thirty-seven-year-old was also charged for abetment to robbery. Allegations are that Taylor purposely aided and encouraged another in committing the robbery. Taylor appeared before Magistrate Khiana Gordon, where he pleaded not guilty and despite objection to bail by the Prosecutor, he was granted bail in the sum of three thousand dollars with conditions. Police reviewed video footage that showed a blue Ford Escape and a blue Mazda Tribute stopping before a pedestrian ramp on Chetumal Boulevard and the suspect in the robbery exiting the Ford Escape and jumping into the Mazda Tribute, driven by Taylor. Police have not yet charged anyone for robbery.
