Police Say Traces of Blood Found in Vehicle Impounded in Iran Jones Murder
The body of Iran Jones was found two Saturdays ago in a shallow grave in Biscayne Village. The thirty-year-old was a main witness in a murder trial just prior to his murder and he had relocated to Hattieville in fear of his safety. His family had said that he had received threats following his testimony in court. But the police didn’t have much to go on at the time. Today, however, the Commissioner of Police shared with reporters that the police have made some inroads in that case.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
“We have found the vehicle. And the person of interest we were looking for in respect of that incident. So far, we have not been able to establish anything further. I know that the test we did in the vehicle did reveal that there was a trace of blood in the vehicle, and we have gathered those samples and will be sent for D.N.A testing.”
