Will G.O.B. Grant Portico Use of Seabed?

The use of the seabed is important for the Port of Magical Belize, as it will be used for the construction of an artificial peninsula.  While the Portico project speaks to the use of the ocean floor, will the government grant permission for that undertaking?  Here’s Prime Minister Briceño once again.

“If the government believes that it is an important project, which we do, even Channel Seven believes it is an important project. Of course we have to work with them to ensure that they can be able to get access to it. They have not applied but I am certain that the minister, the D.P.M. will give it some serious consideration because without that we cannot have the project.”
